The VivaMQ project successfully enhanced the efficiency of oral examinations in higher education by leveraging generative AI to automatically generate tailored viva questions from students' written submissions and assess the quality of their work. This web-based tool effectively addressed challenges related to subjectivity and academic integrity in oral assessments, providing robust support for educators and students throughout the evaluation process.
